Defining change management |
When you say 'change management', the person you are talking
with may have a completely different image pop into their
head. They may think "oh, you mean communication" or "oh,
you must mean just that touchy feely stuff" or even "oh, you
mean version control for software". The Defining change
management tutorial provides a solid foundation for
really conveying what it means to manage the people side of
change.

Connecting change
management to business results |
One of the biggest challenges change management
practitioners face is demonstrating the business value of
investing time, resources and energy in managing the people
side of change. This tutorial presents an exercise for
linking the Project, Purpose, Particulars and People for
initiatives you are undertaking. This exercise can be used
as a powerful tool for providing context to change
management as you prepare for your 2008 initiatives. If
your audience wants you to "show me the numbers", the
additional tutorial below shows correlation analysis of the
impact of effective change management.

Chapter 1 - ADKAR:
Overview |
ADKAR is Prosci's individual change management model
- it shows how a person successfully goes through change. An
individual needs Awareness, Desire, Knowledge, Ability and
Reinforcement for a change to succeed. ADKAR provides the
targets for change management activities. In late 2006, Jeff
Hiatt released his latest book on the ADKAR model, and these
tutorials present excerpts from the new book.

What, Why and How
of Enterprise Change Management |
Organizations are beginning to get serious about building
organizational change management competency. For the last
two years, Prosci has done research and development in what
we are calling Enterprise Change Management - deploying
change management across the organization or building the
organizational competency to manage change. The What, Why
and How tutorial provides a foundation on why
organizations need to become more change adept and what it
means to take an enterprise perspective for change
management.
