Advanced Change Management Certification Program
The Advanced Change Management
Certification Program is designed for change management
professionals who are experts and trusted advisors in their
organizations. You may be deploying change management in your
organization or be teaching change management to others. During
this program, attendees will cover change management concepts in depth
including the history and evolution of change management, environmental
success factors, portfolio management and enterprise change management.
The goal is for you to become the "place to go" for change management in
your organization.

Making you a change management expert The focus of the Advanced Program is to move beyond what is
covered in the certification program. This is not simply a
deeper dive into topics already covered in the certification
program. The course is aimed at providing you the additional
background, context and depth of knowledge to make you the
"go to" person on any issue related to managing the people
side of change. The current outline includes modules on:

The Advanced Change Management Certification Program
begins
with a meet and greet dinner on Monday night with
instruction beginning Tuesday morning. The course concludes at 3:00 PM
on Thursday. There are evening activities and presentations
on Wednesday night of the program.

Tuition: $2400 Pre-work library: expense incurred by participants,
pre-work library includes procurement of approximately 15
major works in change management: approximately $600. Lodging, travel and meals:
travel arrangements made by participants. This fee includes
three nights lodging, all meals, team building activities,
internet, AV and all meeting facilities (price includes tax and
gratuity). Complete Meeting Package costs vary by location
(Seascape: $1495, Airlie Center:
$1357, Hotel Baker: $1345, Cheyenne Mtn: $1299). |

Prerequisites for this program include:
- Prosci certification (learn
more about the 3-day certification program)
- Approved course application
- Must pass entry exam
- Two years minimum in change management
application experience
- Have a recently completed project where the Prosci
methodology was applied
The program is designed with an extensive focus on bringing
change management into an organization, so attendance is
targeted for internal employees. Consultants should inquire
with Prosci about additional requirements. Additional
requirements for consultants include:
- Engagement with a particular client providing direct
change management services for longer than six months
- Client must provide authorization for case study and
State of Change Management pre-work

| Pre-work: |
The program will have extensive pre-work, and attendees
are expected to invest significant time and energy in
preparation to be active and valuable members of the
program. Estimated 40 to 50 hours of pre-course preparation.
The four pre-work components are:
- Change Management Literature Review - Each attendee
will read excerpts from a list of seminal change
management works. Each attendee will also be responsible
for preparing a ten-minute "compare and contrast" overview of
two of these
works that will be delivered in the Advanced Program.
- Change Portfolio Management Data - Participants will
need to collect data on a number of key initiatives in
their organization as part of the Change Portfolio
Management module.
- Case studies - Participants will write two short
case studies on their application of change management
on projects in their organization. Templates and
guidelines will be provided upon registration. One case
study will present a successfully completed application
of the methodology and one will present a current
situation and the challenges you are facing.
- State of Change Management at your organization -
Participants will write a short synopsis of deployment
efforts at your organization and the current State of
Change Management.
